SUMMARY: May and Charlie spend a little quality bonding time over shoes, ice cream, and superheroing.

Ah, the mall. The nice, normal, stress-relieving, land of bliss mall. Sure, she didn’t have the same kind of cash she’d had at home. Not that that had been much, but enough that she could splurge on some fantastic shoes every once in a while. Here, without the parental support and no part-time job, she’d had to do without. For months. But her patience had paid off and now, today, finally it was time to spring for something totally unnecessary.
With the Halloween party only a day a way, it really was just all the more reason to hit up the stores before hitting the social scene at Angie’s party. And what better way to do it than with a friend? May hung out at the food court, sipping on her milkshake as she waited for Charlie to arrive.
