He only vaguely registered Lyra; every step he took was like a memory of something long lost and before his eyes he could see Aqua dodge his blade as graceful as always, only to follow up with a strike of her own. He dodged it fluidly, flipping over his imagined opponent and then swinging his blade at her again, almost smiling as he lost himself to the memory of simpler times.

Eventually he decided to take a break, dismissing Gaia Bane and walking over to greet Lyra.

Terra smiled at her awe, it was times like this that made him compare her to Ven, but then shook his head. "Not good enough yet. There is much I still have learn."

He crooked his head slightly as he looked over to her. He wasn't sure what she meant by cheating, but by looks it seemed seemed to him that she needed any advantage magic or whatever power she wielded could grant her anyway. "What kind of opponents have you fought?"

Terra made a considering sounding noise, Lyra was right - there were plenty people here, even though none of them was a Keybrearer… perhaps it was to learn something new anyway, to add to his skills. It could only become an advantage against Xehanort, right?

Muggers, monsters, robots… that didn't really sound like the kind of opponent Lyra should be fighting, especially if she was still learning. Granted, Ven hadn't been that much older when they had fought the Unversed, but at least he had had quite some years of training under Master Eraqus speaking for him. "Illusions, huh? So you can use magic too?"

"Neat. I can see how that would come handy in battle." he commentated. Sure, he wasn't really fond of illusions or any ability that screwed with his perception, at least when they were applied rather to hurt than to protect, but he couldn't really picture Lyra deliberately abusing her powers.

He smiled at her enthusiasm, for just a moment seeing Ven grinning at him, eager to learn and to improve. "I take you like it?"
