Charlie appeared in a flash in her bedroom, her fingers gripping the CD case she was holding so tightly the plastic had started to crack. She winced when the edge bit into her finger and then threw it on the floor with a shout of anger and...something. She wasn't even sure what.
She didn't understand. She wasn't even sure where to try and start understanding. She sat down on the edge of the bed, frowning at the floor, and then covered her eyes with her hands and tried to stop crying.
