"... and now we cross to Barney with the weather! What's the weather doing in The City today?"

"Thanks Joe - I've just been informed that there's a very odd weather pattern going on right now; seems like there's a thick fog under parts of Manhattan right now!"

"Under?"

"Yes - under! It started very early this morning and it's dropped visibility in the subway system to just a few feet. Commuters have desribed it as "thick," "sickly sweet" and "heavy." The morning train commute is going to be slower than usual because of it, but the Bureau of Meteorology says there should be no adverse effects and they're monitoring the situation. Hopefully it'll just clear up in a few hours and things will be fine again."

[OOC: Ladies and gentlemen, the Mist plot starts today! Side effects of Mist included greatly reduced visibility, pshychic noise, hardening of hearts and increased feral animal attacks.]
