Hello, this is Charles Xavier, ah, typing. Speaking? Regardless.

I am here to announce that as school is beginning just tomorrow at the Institute, I am prepared to greet all of my new students with an earnest pleasure. I have provided for you both a text-based version of the syllabus for my Mathematics class as well as attached an image.

Ah, I am hardly attempting to be some sort of maverick, as it were. I only intend to exercise my students' minds, as I have said.

Must've been easy for you to exercise your mind when you could just pluck out whatever answers you wanted.

That is quite the accusation. I did not do that myself; perhaps once or twice when I was very young and beginning to control my mutation.

I would not cheat and dampen the legitimacy of my degrees.

I just have to wonder, how does a telepath expect flatscans to exercise their minds? Figure at that level it would mean something completely different.

I have never heard such a term. [ He sounds somewhat offended, and he doesn't like the implications of such a word. ]

Though I am also considerably distanced from your time period.

I have never used the term, and I have never heard it used - nor have I spoken of humans in any way that was to sound so -derogatory.
