[ S'up CnC, Mitch is postin' to the network from his campaign headquarters. Even though it's almost 10 pm, there's still light, and the sounds of bustle and moving bodies, phones ringing every now and then, and his desk is stacked high with papers. ]
Jesus fuck. Do you know how hard it is to be broke when there's a natural disaster and you can't provide relief? So I guess this is a little bit of a thank you to the guys who actually went out there and did shit, and a request for donations.
Not for me this time, I know, I know. [ He smiles and laughs a little ruefully. ] The shitty thing about campaign funds is there's a lot of laws preventing me from spending them on anything but the campaign. So what I'm asking is that if you have some extra cash on hand? Why not donate it to the refugees so they can get food, and repair their houses. I think if we can pitch in as a collective for that just like we did for saving them, we could probably make a big difference over there.
