I don't want to say that this city is boring, because it's certainly never that. A little less excitement of the kind that doesn't endanger everyone's lives would be nice, actually ( Read more... )

Movies are fun, as long as they aren't horror. What about dancing? I'm not sure what other things there are to do in the City.

suggestions on 'things to do'

drive a dirt bike off rooftops

fly to south america with only two hundred dollars and no knowledge of the language, see what happens in 48 hours

enlist a telepath and a computer dictation machine to truly stream your erratic, non-linear thoughts to paper; analyze them and/or turn them into a story, submit to penguin publishing

start a superpowered wrestling federation

start a band

grab a fuckton of those wafers you get at communion, start shoveling them down your throat, declare you are 'eating god'

learn to swing dance

find a basketball hoop in another country, attach a digital camera to the court fixed upon it, come back home, and from a random location in the street, throw a ball as hard as you can; keep doing this until you sink it

find a local wizard/witch; convince them to take you on a journey into the mystical realms that are far beyond us, shoot the shit with starbeings from beyond space and time

it truly is

it is a thing that has stood the test of time

I hear in Venezuela they've made video games illegal because they cause violence. Sounds like a government in its death throes, to me.

But that may be a bit focused.

That's sweet of you, Danny, thank you, but I think I'm okay with the regular price.

Are you a bartender there?

If you ask me, this City is definitely more relaxed than back home.

Back home I knew a lot more people.
