Hump day
This cold has really settled in; was't worth much today. Got a couple more things done, caught up a bit, tried to build bridges ( hopefully didn't smash any), started on the introductions for graduation (I'm the "mc" this year).
Spent the evening jurying a show of natural history art as the scientific advisor. Checking to make sure that the dogwoods have opposite leaves and the oaks are alternate, etc. I feel like a total fraud doing this; I'm not a good enough botanist to get the details on all these plants. But I'm better than no one, I guess.
Pedometer report: 14508 steps/6.99 miles. Update: I totally left my keys at home this a.m. and found myself locked out when I got home. Fortunately, whitefjords was able to rescue me. Can't do that when I'm driving to work.
