could it be that ive found love at last? it seems too good to be true, last time i let this happen i wound up jsut hurt again. so thats two relationships this career choice has ruined for me, hopfully 3rd times a charm. i find myself wanting to open up, the way she has to me, but i'm having a hard time of it. i'm sure i'll come around in the end, but i gota be carful, i definatly dont wanna screw this one up.
on second thought, fuck that. i'm so tired of being this way, so sick of being a coward. i'm gonna just go with the flow of things. if it works out, then i'll be the happiest man ever. if she decides to leave, then no loss that i cant handle again. perhaps this time i'll even get a chance to see her in person :)
on the iraq front, things are well. i got to PUC a guy, thats capture him, for those of you who arnt familiar with the acranym ( i dont even know what it means, myself). he had a bunch of gasoline and soap in his car, along with a bunch of wires. as the average anarchist knows, soap + gas x fire = napalm! needless to say, that was enough for us, but would you know it, the guy tried to make a break for it. he didnt get far though. me and another marine ran him down hard, ziptied him up in 2 seconds and had him on his way to abu graib faster than you can say "die insurgant, die". thats one less mujahadeen weapons smugler in fallujah, so i feel my job was completed.
too bad we didnt have a reporter with us, you dont see much of the good acomplishments making the headlines.
speaking of which, things arnt near as bad here as people make it out to be. i hear we hit 2000 deaths not too long ago. people are saying this is gonna be the next vietnam. i sure hope not. if we pull outa here you can kiss the title of "sole super power" goodbye. we've already lost enough face in the international comunity to start this war (totally jsutified in my view). to pull out now would be like getting a phone call in a movie theatre, and acidentally hitting the fire escape on the way out to take the call. i also hear that russia and china are colaberating to put an unmaned probe on the moon. these are dark times we live in.
