"Help the tooth!"
Saturday morning Doodlebug was exceptionally worried about a sudden new development. Upon noticing the loose tooth, he immediately ran to daddy and asked him to "Help! the tooth! Tooth is broken! Help!" And proceeded to shove daddy's finger in his mouth and bite down to make his point. It took a fair amount of talking to convince him that it was ok.
He's ok, but he's spent the better part of the weekend grumpy and out of sorts because of the distraction. All in all, this major milestone is progressing much better than I hoped - I've heard it can be very traumatic for autistic kids.
