Beatrice watched with interest as Battler refused to believe the words of George, Jessica, Maria, Shannon and Kanon. This was certainly interesting. Who would have thought that someone of Kinzo's bloodline would have such a strong resistance towards magic?
With a smile, Beatrice snapped her fingers and appeared in a shower of golden butterflies. Battler looked startled for a moment but quickly began to form various theories about who she actually was. Beatrice watched in amusement as the young man before her refused to back down. Oh, this was far more fun that she had first thought.
His words completely denied her and she felt a thrill run down her spine. To break this man and watch him suffer would be the greatest pleasure. To toy with him until he was forced to acknowledge her existence would be glorious.
Battler sneered and declared that he would explain everything away with human tricks. Beatrice smiled, waving her pipe and daring Battler to explain as Shannon and Kanon began to slowly fall apart before his very eyes. George, Jessica, and Maria were next and Beatrice watched in delight as Battler still refused to believe, instead growing even more determined.
Beatrice grinned at the scene before her. It had been so long since something this interesting had happened. This Battler would be quite the interesting opponent.
