The guys are here and are almost done moving everything into it's spots. The kids and I have taken over the living room since it has no furniture for it. Ethan hooked up the little TV and we brought some toys in here. I’m sitting on a beanbag chair and I’m freezing cold and I feel like crap. I really, really want to get in bed but can’t until they are done.
Ethan is picking up pizza. Part of living in Bellevue that is super great is how much more food is available to us. Yes, we are going to start eating at home more but, when we don’t, or on the days we have no time to cook, there is a ton more available. Downtown Bellevue is just 10-15 minutes from our new house - even in traffic.
This house is already feeling like home. The location is terrific and, once our stuff is moved in, it’ll really be nice because we know we are going to be here for at least three years - maybe even more? The only thing that is really bothering me about the house is that it is pretty dirty. Not like filthy, you really have to look to see the unclean parts. Like the floors in the bathrooms have dust and hair behind the doors and in the corners. The showers have horrible soap scum and the dust, smears and spots on the window ledges and fireplace tops. I think we might have a company come in and do a deep clean. I just won’t be able to do it as well (or as fast) as they do.
Okay, lunch time!
