This guy ran on a fiscally conservative platform. Saying he was going to run the city like an efficient business, keeping taxes where they are without making any real cuts to services. Really I think he won because Alex Munter is gay and that scared people. Its a shame too because it turns out Larry O'Brian's ideas come from a 15 year old book at least one city counselor has already read. Man.. this is just going from bad to worse. First thing he did once in office was give himself a pay raise, next thing you know the plan to expand light rail transit in the city is scraped leaving the city open to a lawsuit from the train company they had a contract with to build the train. Now we find out he doesn't actually have any new ideas? Great freaking great.
