A curious thought

Happy New Year.

Here's a curious thought: The supreme court ruling M. v. H. grants that common-law marriages must apply to same-sex couples as well as to straight couples. Ontario's family law act defines a common-law spouse as a couple who have cohabited continuously for a period of not less than three years.

Don't live with anyone for more than three years in Ontario unless you want to marry them. :^)
