The weather is turning nice soon, I plan to start biking. I'm going to try to tighten the brakes on my bike in the next hour before going to work, but I'm also thinking of buying a new bike this spring. (I've had the same one for a few years, I bought it for $40 at a yardsale, it's not very fast and it's slowly crumbling.)
It's not just practical to start biking again.. I actually feel a deep desire to start exercising again, I am going crazy from being cooped up so much.
Ah, it's nice to suddenly be able to cool my porridge on the balcony's edge, and open the windows to air the place out.
Hey, I have some sprouted potatos in a bag and some empty pots of soil outside on the balcony, I think I'm gonna cut some into pieces and plant them and see what happens! But maybe it's too cold to put them out just yet..
Ottawa is such a corrupt city, but so pious-acting at the same time, it drives me crazy sometimes. See this article about the current mayor's actions during the election here.
The Québec election was yesterday, it was a pretty disappointing show. Québec Solidaire, who I was rooting for (left wing nationalist party), didn't even get a single seat. Also the upstart rightwing party ADQ gained a lot more seats in this election, although they didn't manage to win.
