For those of you who don't live in Ontario, a law is about to come into effect here that dissolves any kind of mandatory retirement at age 65 (we're mainly talking about government jobs here I guess).
I was thinking a lot about it while coming back from the west end, but I can't get it together enough to write a letter to the editor of the Citizen (which I wanted to).
Just wanted to say, being under 30 in Canada is pretty pitiful these days, we really have no political party that represents us, no ideology to explain our lives, no expectations for a steady future.. it's not that bad, just the triumph of the older demographic having a huge majority/monopoly on society.
They just say "wait a little longer until we all retire"..great, we'll all be middle aged by the time we get steady jobs.
life,
annoyances,
getting older,
rants
