There has been another death, although not human, it is still tragic.
RIP Parker, my pet spider who somehow lived in my car.
His is a sad tale, his life only lasting a short half hour that I know of, although he was kinda big and brown and scary.
Sean and I were driving home from school last night. All of the suddent Sean jumps and says, "whoa, that's a huge spider in your car." I see him running on the inside of my windshield. He was content for awhile to ride in my epass holder, and stayed there for most of the journey. Then, little Preston decided he needed to be an adventurer.
He ran in circles on my windshield coming over to my side while I was driving twice. Each time I would say "no, you can't be on my side, you have to go back to Sean's side, or else I can't drive". and god love Parker, he listened. Then we dicided to name him. Parker after peter parker, spider man.
Then Parker went to the space where my windshield and side of my car meet and sat there for a little bit. I casually say to Sean that we might need to get rid of Parker when we get to his house. Sean says ok, and then SQUASHES HIM!
I almost cried. Seriously. It wouldn't have mattered except for we named him, and for those 10 min, he was our beloved pet. I felt so guilty. Then we realized it was probably a brown recluse, so I guess I don't feel so bad.
But I would still like to remember him as the cute little spider who listened to me better than anyone else ever has.
Hope you're having fun in the spide afterlife! Remember, if you're going to come back and haunt anyone, Sean is the one who squashed you, not me!
