After personally witnessing the horrific -- and yet, historic -- events in the Orange Bowl Saturday I swear on the graves of my ancestors that I shall never support the University of Miami EVER AGAIN in any way possible! I shall never give them any financial support. If I happen to ever reproduce (heaven help us if I do!), I shall forbid my

if u think UM players started this then either:
1. You were not at the game
2. You are blind or
3. Your view was blocked
Was the fight right? no... did we start it? no
Should our guy have swung his helmet? No
i honestly dont know what u were looking at...
the whole game FIU players were taunting our guys, with every tackle they thought was important they would get into our players face... and then when Kenny Philips intercepted the pass in the endzone one of the FIU players (player that wasn't good enough for UM).
the only reason that ESPN and the news is blaming us because we are actually known for our football.
u guys were actually playing well (or rather we hadn't started playing yet which has been our problem all season) until one of your players tackled and started beating our kick holder (a friend of mine who never did anything to provoke this). I dont know if u know much about football but a team considers themselves family, so when one gets hit or attacked they stand up for each other. I for one would not waste a second in jumping on someone that attacked one of my family members...
So before u judge get the facts straight, it would save u a lot of time.
and btw that "delapidated Little Havana shack some would dare to call a stadium" is where we have graciously allowed you to play all your home games next season...
"It's something they started," Wright said. "And our guys finished it. ... They're going home with a 35-0 loss and they're 0-7."

To answer your questions:
1. You were not at the game: I was, Section L of the Bowl, in the Visitors' Area
2. You are blind or: I have perfect 20/20 vision with superb depth perception
3. Your view was blocked: this is true... I DO have ADHD so my mind tends to drift, and there was a tall dude in front of me. I DID miss the initial scene during the field goal. But I was offended by Bryant's bow prior to that incident.
"and btw that "delapidated Little Havana shack some would dare to call a stadium" is where we have graciously allowed you to play all your home games next season..." Thanks. But they have been threatening to tear it down for decades. Also, a chunck of concrete fell on some old lady's head recently, and I swear there were sewer pipes leaking on me. Nevertheless, I actually do like the OB! It has a 'Je ne sais quois'-feel to it in all it's retroness.
"I dont know if u know much about football but a team considers themselves family, so when one gets hit or attacked they stand up for each other. I for one would not waste a second in jumping on someone that attacked one of my family members..." I much preffer basketball, but if my kid or my brother was getting beaten by another much smaller kid while both were wearing protection, I'd let them finish their fight honorable, and may the best kid win. I didn't start the fight, and it wasn't my fight to begin with. Why get involved? Let nature (or the referees) take it's course! I don't get this guy mentality of sticking up for "your bros"... I never had anybody stick their neck out and fight for me. Always had to fight all on my own. But HEY! I fought! I wasn't going down without a fight!
Anyhow... I'm really sorry!
