My Little NON-Homophobic, NON-Racist, NON-Smart-Shaming Pony: A Rebuttal by Lauren Faust (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic producer & creative director)
Some readers took the former as satirical, but it...wasn't. Richter more or less blew any credibility she might've had by failing to watch a single episode, but she's not entirely wrong (just significantly wrong), while the MLP-fan masses ride to Faust's defense and dismiss Richter's points entirely. If you ask me MLP:FiM deserves a thoughtful critique based on an actual viewing of the actual show, with acknowledgment of the things it does well along with things it could do better. I'm trying to write...something...but it keeps getting longer and less finished.
