Hiya,

I've loved Placebo for years (although I'm nowhere near as obsessed as I was) & now I'm past caring if people think me liking them is strange. It's not hurting anyone. As soon as I hear the intro to 'Pure Morning' it cheers me up. Their 2nd album in particular holds loads of memories for me but if you played it to anyone else it wouldn't mean anything.

In answer to whether it's silly to like Molko so much when you'll never meet him, no, I don't think so -- depends whether your love for him takes over your life or not! I wouldn't want to meet him either. Would we still love him if we could have him, I wonder? (me 1st!)

I was totally in love with him when I was younger & I still love him now, but some stage I realised nothing would ever happen between him & I. Not that I'd want it to -- he might be horrible !

I love the bit about him nursing us & taking care of us but I've got my own reasons for that (don't ask !!) Placebo's lyrics *do* make you feel like somebody else gets the situation you're in. They actually give you something to think about.

Good for you !!

Thank you for taking the time to read my article first of all and what you said was very well written. Yes, Placebo's lyrics really do make you feel very un-alone! :)
