WOW girl! You hit the nail right smack dab on the head! I can totally relate to your blog and agree with everything you've written about the allure of Mr. Molko! It's funny, we both discovered Placebo the same way. I too, saw the Pure Morning video back in the late 90's & was instantly mesmerized by that beautiful "ladyboy" balancing on the ledge, not to mention the killer music. I've always been strongly attracted to pretty "androgynous" men and for me Brian was the ultimate standard of sexual perfection. I also really admire his attitude and stance for being who you want to be and being true to yourself (Don't forget to be the way you are - as in the song "Plasticine")Being myself a "bisexual" (or should that be Bri-sexual?) I hate when people try to put me in a box and say I should be either 100% straight or gay. Like Brian says, sexuality is fluid & there are a lot of grey areas. In 1977 I thought I might be a lesbian because I had crushes on my girlfriends, a few years later when I met Mark, I thought, OK maybe I am straight...then I fell for a woman & lived with her for 5 years, got dumped and have been single since 1998. I had a couple one night stands (with guys) but haven't been with anyone seriously in a DECADE. I look at Brian & I think oh God if I could only find a guy like that that would be into ME but it's a steep request. I guess I am attracted to femininity, in girls AND guys! Only problem is, most times the femme girls are straight & the femme guys are gay & not interested! Anyway, at this point I could fall in love with either sex, but I fall in love with the person, not the gender. But I think a pretty boy is exactly what I'm missing in my life. Anyway I just wanted to comment on how fabulous and TRUE your article is, thanks for sharing!

You made me day girl! I really enjoyed reading your response and about your personal experiences! I haven't had a serious relationship in years although I fell very hard for someone online who is a big Brian fan. We are having space and are just friends now. I am sad but not much else to do but just move forward. I wish I could find someone like Brian too! I wish us both luck! Please keep in touch and feel free to email me!
