Man. I haven't been home too long and I've gotten so much done. It makes me happy.
Tomorrow is St STUPID'S day. I'm convinced that the only thing that Valentine's Day does is (1) force guys to buy things that they don't really wanna buy but do bc they're scared they're gonna get in trouble AND (2) make those who are single/alone feel like crap. Kill me now.
Last evening waiting for class to start I noticed a couple things: (1) Everyone...EVERY SINGLE PERSON waiting for the class before ours to get out was engaging in some form of entertainment. (iPod, Nintendo DS, cell phone, laptop) Whatever did fellow generations of college students do?! Do they....you don't suppose they.....talked to one another, do you?! (2) When the class pervious to ours was over, students poured out of the auditorium. Talk about a diverse bunch! And I'd be willing to bet that (for the most part) they all couldn't give a damn what color of skin the guy next to them has. This would not be the case if you put one hundred 50 year olds in a room together. America is on its way.
I threw out about 20 articles of clothing today. I feel good about it. And on the other hand I feel like I've 'accepted' that I'm 'fluffy' now...makes it sound like I've given up. I haven't. I know I'm incapable of being super good/crazy and cutting out all fried food and things of that nature. I'm going to modify myself slightly.
I've made progress on the CD case design. Pleased so far.
Chi town in 3 weeks.
Thought today about how stupid I still think things got with Neil.
Martell has stopped trying to talk to me and put me down.
Jason was a bust. Turns out he's a bullshit. Least I found out early.
