Rants and Raves

Man...I just wish that everyone would do whatever pleases them as long as it isn't intended to hurt others and doesn't hurt others. It's a simple concept, really. Treat others how you'd like to be treated. Naturally, people judge other people. It happens. I get it. It's what you do with the judgment that makes all of the difference. I'm tired of people putting me (and others) down for our lack of religion. I try and be the best person I can be. In the end, that's what religion is really about, no? So why all the criticism over whether or not God is accepted and forgiveness has been asked for? Putting others down only makes you lesser of a person. You worry about keeping yourself moral. I'll worry about my own morality. Sounds good.

I recently had a friend FREAK OUT on me bc I told him I was 'blazed and doing chores.' Newsflash...pot is more popular than anyone who isn't around it knows. And if you don't do it...you reeeeally have NOT ONE IDEA what it's all about, how prevalent it is, or how it affects you...therefore, what kind of opinion could you really have? Furthermore, aside form it being illegal, how is it any worse than those that come home and drink nightly? I understand that all that some folks know about drugs centers around negative experiences. Noted. BUT everyone is not like my aunt who used and abused painkillers nor are all those that drink like my father that used to get plastered nightly, punch walls, break things, then pass out. I challenge anyone to tell me ONE way (aside from health reasons) in which pot is a negative influence on my life. Then we'll have something to talk about. Until then, let those who have no idea shut the fuck up. I have more important things to worry about.
