I'm happy, but still...
Howie and I are going into our third week without each other again. I feel like I'm in Holland again, only this time we can talk every day. It really stinks that he can't live at the apartment while he's recovering. I know he needs someone there during the day to help him, but obviously I can't be the one, because I'm a teacher now! I am enjoying the fact that I am living a dream now that I've had since I was in First Grade myself. Part of that dream is missing though, because I can't share it with the man I love...I can't wait to see him this weekend when he comes to visit!
We might be getting a new puppy! It won't be for another few months, after he's moved back home with me, but it's still exciting! We've decided that Sensi could use a new friend, since we took him from his best friend when we moved here. We are probably going to go to the Humane Society to find her (we have to have a girl!)
I miss Orlando so much, especially right now. If I was, I would take you out to lunch, Ashley; to congratulate you on passing the Subject Area exam!!! It scared the crap out of me too! You're almost a teacher! I miss Lauren and Mike and Paige too! I can't even see the new happy family in action, and that's sad too! I miss Tom and Juliet and adorable little Louscious-and Sensi misses Lou too! To fill my Juliet void, I have become more interested in wines, especially the Washington state ones, since I was born there. She would be proud!
I really miss Brian and Nadine and Ace...and everyone else that I can't see anymore, like Lisa! My friends have all gotten their teaching jobs in Orlando, and it's so exciting! Lisa and I could have been co-workers...oh well, these things happen when we get old! Boo...
I am really loving running in to old friends from high school, especially those who I either never hung out with or stopped being friends with after high school. They are all awesome friends now!
It's so funny that my brother has a college class with Zach, since I haven't seen him in two or so years! I wonder what ever happened to him and Jody. I hope I run into them at some point.
I have an obsession with earrings and perfume and shoes now...and things with sequins on them...this goes back to my trip to the Netherlands, where I fell in love with all things Dutch and girly. Damn americans...we steal all the fashion too late....
