i don't speak ill of beane. or, should i say, i didn't. blind faith in the man, okay? because he's billy beane. because we used to finish in the cellar and they used to say, well, with that payroll, what do you expect? and he did stuff that people second-guessed adn doubted all over the place, how can you trade giambi, how can you not even TALK to miggy, but we kept coming back, staying in it, so i kept the faith.

but, no. i'm sorry, but there's no excuse for this. in three days, we went from not just the best rotation in the game, but one of the best rotations of ALL TIME EVER, to fucking danny haren and dan meyer.

Anytime, and oh, a part of me is relieved to have them where my guys won't have to face 'em, definitely. But it's always a shame to see such an amazing thing change. It hurt so much when Andy and Roger were gone, but it wasn't a *shock*...Mulder was most definitely a shock.
