The Boy In The Crowd
I went to a gig of Emma Dean's a couple weeks ago. I always love catching up with the Brissy muso crew when they gig down here. Caught up with Jacob Diefenbach a couple weeks before her.
So, I was at Emma's gig and I saw this guy before the gig that caught my eye. He was pretty much a clone of Ben Barnes in Dorian Gray, a look that I was very much mesmerised by. After I slapped myself out of my trance, I went to see Emma's awesome gig.
After the show, I usually catch up with Emma in the lounge/bar. I was chatting away with her and she told me I had to meet someone, being Mr Dorian Gray look-a-like. Turns out that he is in a Melbourne band that I have been meaning to see for ages. Trust me to like a guitarist!
He seems like a lovely guy. Having met him has convinced me that I will have to get myself to one of his gigs sooner. Good PR work and he didn't even have to try.
