something I just don't get

All right, it's a holiday weekend. Most people didn't work yesterday and they're not doing much more today. It's our right to be relax a little, in other words. Soo.....why then is it so shocking that a restaurant might just want to close 30 minutes early on the holiday? There's hardly anyone coming in. We all want to go home/out to do something fun. What would make someone bang on a locked door, yell at the hostess when she says we're closed, then yell some more at the manger who finally has to let him in (so he won't get into trouble). Why on earth would anyone argue their way into a closed restaurant?

This guy apparently wanted pissed-off people making and serving his food. And while I'm quite sure no one actually did anything to it (it really doesn't happen the way people seem to think) you'd think he'd at least be afraid that they would.

No, we are not human beings with lives. We exist merely to serve you. So sorry we attempted to leave early on a holiday and caused you any inconvenience. Oh what the heck, let's just stay open 24 hours so this will never happen again. Won't that be fun?
