The most ironic thing is that for the first 80% of the quarter nothing of value happens but during that last 20% which is most involved in academia the social factor explodes.
I like winter break but literally in my experience everything good and exciting happens literally before break and I'm left with "SO MUCH COULD HAPPEN IN 2 WEEKS TO THE OTHER PERSON AND I'M NOT AROUND TO BE A PART OF IT" the entire time.
