THE GAME IS ON
OKAY! After literally two months of constant badgering the professor of the advanced creative writing class, the official applicaiton for the advanced creativing class for the fall quarter is finally out!! The deadline is September 15, and I just finished my internship so I technically will have more than enough time to finish the application.
EXCEPT!
I'm supposed to write a statement of purpose, which I don't think will be too difficult...but I will also be going against a bunch of other writers who want to take this class, which is focusing on the nuances of writing. The quarter project will be writing a full-fledged story - which I hope isn't novel length because seriously, I love writing but that's just ridiculous - and I'm super excited about it, but I'm also nervous because 1) I really want to get into this class because it sounds like a lot of fun and 2) I need to get into this class for it to count toward my minor. So I can't fuck up!!
Second, I need to submit a writing sample. I'm thinking of playing it safe by submitting two of my original works, both on the relative short side. However, I'd like your feedback? So anyone who's been with me and reading my stuff, please suggest what you think was the best of my original stuff for me to submit??? Help because I really REALLY want in in this class!!!!!!
