2 weeks left....
So, we've been for two more ultrasounds, we go every week. The baby weighs about 6 lbs. 7 oz. He's growing very quickly. He's healthy, but if I carry to term he will be huge. So, they basically told me that I'll be delivering in the next 2 weeks. I'm having an amnio done next week when we go in to make sure that his lungs are mature, then they'll decide when to induce me. But, they assured me that I won't be going past 36 weeks. That means we're looking at no later than the first week of August. I'm a little nervous about being induced but if it is what is best for the baby then I'll do it. That and the amnio freaks me out a little too. But, we have to make sure that his lungs are ok before we induce. They said the worst that could happen with the amnio is that it could put me into labor, which is what they want in the first place. It's all sinking in finally, we're having a baby in no more than 2 weeks now. I'm so excited, but I'm scared and nervous all at the same time. Anyway, just thought I'd let everyone know that he's on his way!! We'll let you know when he comes for sure!
