i'm living on such sweet nothing
How about another entry with random pictures? Yes? Okay!
First, Brad and I went out to dinner for our anniversary on Wednesday, and it was a lovely evening. We went to Yang's Teppanyaki & Sushi and had a really good time. The food was great and the chef was entertaining, so we really enjoyed ourselves, especially because it's been such a long time since we could do something like that. We also stopped in at a Bulk Barn after dinner, which was a completely mind-blowing experience for me. I don't think I've ever been in one before, and I was totally blown away by all the stuff you can get there. Every couple feet down each aisle, I was exclaiming over something else they had, until at one point, Brad said "Hon, if we weren't dressed so nicely, people would think we were stoned." Lol! I was a little excited, what can I say?
Next, look at the super cute shoes I just got!
Months ago, Lynn had told me that Ardene often sold flats at ridiculously cheap prices, like 2 or 3 for $15, but I just haven't had any money to shop with so I hadn't gone in. But we finally do have a smidge of extra money, so I popped in last week to see what they had, and sure enough, a whole wall full of 2 for $15 flats! I got those blue ones, which I adore, and a pair of beige/neutral flats with a simple bow at the top. Hooray for cheap shoes!
Because a few people have asked, have a progress picture of the cardigan:
It's coming along nicely, and I've probably added another couple inches since that picture was taken. My goal is to finish it by the end of the month so I can wear it at the cottage, which I think is totally doable. More knitting will definitely be happening today!
Finally, for bonjour_cupcake, a picture of me with stuff on my head:
Proof that you can dress me up, but I'm still going to be silly and put things on my head, because why wouldn't I? :p
Also, heaventonoone posted a link to this video yesterday and I have not been able to stop listening to the song:
I'm enjoying both this acoustic cover and the original equally, and I'm definitely going to have to figure out how to acquire the song so I can continue listening to it on repeat. It's way past time that I got some new tasty musics.
