Omg saddest thing EVER! I just found out that our favorite restaurant in the world is closed!! :( :( I am sure I've written about Langolino 900 times in here - it's the restaurant we found on the last night of my very first visit to Toronto, had an absolutely amazing meal at, and then ate at pretty much every time I visited over the course of our relationship. It's where we had our wedding dinner! Sadly, that was actually the last time we were there; we've just been busy and eating other places and all that in the last six months. And now we won't get to go again. :( Someone posted to the Toronto community asking if a certain restaurant on College St was still around, and for other recommendations in Little Italy. So, as I always do, I recommended Langolino, and the poster said they'd check it out. Well, she responded to my comments this morning, saying that they'd tried to go last night but "it was closed ... there was a 'for rent' (or 'for lease'?) sign hanging near the door." In a subsequent comment, she informed me that "There were still tables and chairs inside, but they were all stacked and the lights were all off. (This was around 7:3opm so it seemed they weren't opening that night, anyway.) And as I say, we thought we saw a For Rent or Lease sign... too bad!"

If you go to Langolino's website, you get a "this page has been suspended" message, although weirdly if you google them, you can still access the page that has their menus and their contact and info pages, just not the home page itself. But when I tried to call their number, I got a "you have reached a number that is not in service" type message. :( :( I am a sad panda now. Langolino was our faaaaaaavorite restaurant! They were soooo delicious, and omg where else am I going to find strawberry juice now?! *cry* Guess we'll have to start looking for a replacement restaurant now. :( :(
