This was really cool to read, thanks for sharing! Do you keep in touch with Matt or Chris? This is one of those topics that is universally interesting, especially for a nosy person like me, hehe. Thank goodness for LJ because you can look back on all those entries years from now, awww. :)

My first love and first kiss are the same person! I didn't get my first kiss until I was 20 (!) and it was with Eric. He was my first (and only) everything!

Yay, glad you enjoyed it! Oh god no, haha, neither of them. Chris and I never really had much of a friendship, so we were facebook friends for awhile in college, but even then didn't really stay in touch, and I took him off my friends list ages ago. Matt and I tried to be friends that fall after we broke up, once I'd gotten some distance from it all, but the friendship didn't really work out, and I told him I didn't want to talk to him anymore pretty early in 2006, and have not heard anything from or about him since.

I totally agree that it's universally interesting! And lol, it is sometimes hilarious having LJ entries that old, but I'm glad I have them. :)

Aww, that's really cute!! :D I can't wait to hear your story!

I know, right? It's pretty hilarious to look back on the stuff I wrote at 17 or 18 - I feel like a completely different person now, and so far removed from all that. But I'm glad I have the LJ entries to look back on and remember how I felt about things when they actually happened.

Is it bad that I legitimately don't remember my first kiss? Like, I've narrowed it down to two people it could've been. But I really, honestly cannot remember for the life of me which one it was. And I kept diaries/journals only sporadically so it's not chronicled in any of them to help me.

Nah. It probably wasn't a big moment for you, and that's okay. I'm sure there's lots of things I don't remember that other people might. You remember the stuff you remember, and it doesn't have to be the same as what other people remember. Do you know how old you were when it happened? If you were pretty young, that might be why it's not a clear memory.

If it was with Chris I was about 10. If it was with Randy I was 11 or 12. I'm leaning toward it being Chris, but, like I said, I'm not sure.

Yeah. To be honest, I don't remember a lot from those years, so it doesn't surprise me that it might not be something you remember.

hahhah. I also didn't have my first kiss until later (a few months after I turned 18), but I was already in college when I had it. For a long time, I lied to people about it being my first kiss because I was SO EMBARRASSED that I didn't have my first kiss in high school or something. It's kind of funny now that I look back on it.

Yay, we are awesome, haha! I'm glad I'm not the only one who had a later first kiss. :) I'll bet there's probably a lot of people who that's true for, but maybe they're too embarrassed to share! I know at the time, I thought it was kind of sad or lame or whatever that I'd never dated or had a kiss or anything in high school, but it definitely is not relevant or any kind of big deal now.

Haha, I love people's first kiss stories! They are almost invariably a little goofy and awkward and it makes you realize that you aren't the only one and everyone was pretending to be cool back in the day.

My first real kiss was Joe when I was 15, and I felt like everyone I knew had been kissed but me (which was so not actually the case), so I guess I was glad to have checked that box, but boy was he not a good kisser. Also I didn't really like him. We dated for several months before I finally managed to get rid of him.

I also had a "fake" first kiss a couple months before that - I don't really count it because it was really no more than a peck (but on the lips). Oh and it was with a girl. I found out later that she was a lesbian - at the time I honestly thought she just wanted to practice kissing. I was a really dumb 15-year-old.

Lol, exactly! It's good to realize no one was really as cool as you thought they were in high school.

Haha, I also didn't really like my first kiss. Even at the time, when I had never had a boyfriend before or anything, I knew that it was only going to be a summer fling, and we weren't going to stay together when I left for college. We really didn't have that much in common, lol.

And honestly, I probably would have thought the same thing if a girl had tried to kiss me when I was that age. I think we were all a little naive and sheltered then. :)
