Day 28: a photo of something/somebody that made your day.
Day 29: a photo of your favorite person from history.
I'll be 100% honest here: I don't know if she is totally my favorite person from history, because I don't think I really have a favorite person. But she is someone I admire from history, and she was kind of the only person I could think of, so I'll go with it. It's Sarah Weddington, the lawyer who successfully argued Roe v. Wade and made abortion legal in the US. I think that was huge and necessary and amazing, and every time I hear about some state trying to pass a law that would limit access to abortion, it kind of makes me sick to my stomach. She came and spoke when I was at William & Mary, and it was really inspiring.
So anyway. Last night I made my yummy spinach salad for dinner, with hard boiled eggs, bacon, cheese, apples and croutons. It was pretty good, if I do say so myself, but I did manage to cut myself while trying to chop up the apples. Knives and I have never gotten along well, and clearly we still don't. I think today, I will finish the laundry, do some dishes, sweep the floors, get a shower and then venture out for a hair cut. Hopefully it will look good! Then this week I'll have to start packing for Jersey! I really hope it doesn't snow while I am down there, because I am SO sick of snow. Blah.
Only two more pictures left for this thing! Woo!
