Christmas/New Years gaming party, 2010 (-11)

It's never (or almost never) too soon to start planning the next gaming party (aka an excuse for socialising).

I am hoping to host one between Christmas and New Years, which fall on Saturdays this year, which seems a more awkward fit than usual.

A number of options present themselves, and I'm interested in knowing which option works for people:

(a) gaming on the 26th and 27th, ie. Sunday and Monday. this probably depends on how what your plans are for Boxing Day.

(b) gaming on the 27th and 28th, ie. Monday and Tuesday.

(c) gaming on the 1st and 2nd, ie. Saturday and Sunday. this probably depends on how what your plans are for New Years Day. most of you don't come early on Saturdays even when it's not New Years, so I'm not sure things would be much different.

(d) gaming on the 2nd and 3rd, ie. the next Sunday and Monday. this has distinct possibilities, and I think is my favourite atm.

(e) maybe something completely different? if you have a suggestion, I'd love to hear it.

On a related note, I'm thinking I'd like to arrange the individual pizza building thing again, for the first evening. I'm wondering if it is practical to make the pizza dough from first principles. If you have any knowledge or practical experience in this area, I'd love to hear it.
