Tune : Watching Kyle XY, trying to get in as many eps as I can before I leave

Tomorrow night after work I am going on surf camp with three of my awesome colleagues asadga;sdkasgdkga I am so excited!!! I'll probably not even be able to get on top of that damned board, but I am sure it'll be heaps of fun nonetheless. This does mean however I'll be laptop-less (and with that most likely Internet-less) for the entire weekend *gulp* So if there's anything going on you think I should know (pics of Zach in a new pink/striped/flowery shirt perhaps or the release of new info for the SDCC) please let me know here ^_^

For now, I finally managed to type up a recap of December which you can find with loads of pictures behind the cut. Have a great weekend everyone! ♥

December 13th I went on a day trip to Kiama with Jules. Kiama is known for it's "blow hole", but unfortunately on the day we visited it wasn't very active. Nonetheless it was a beautiful place and we had a blast climbing over the rocks and snapping pictures of the coast line.

It was a really hot day and I didn't feel like wandering around the city too much but Jules dragged me (:P) to a strip of awesome little shop where they sold cute little presents, jewellery and one shop with tons of second-hand Enid Blyton books I didn't know O_O

Made loads of pictures on the day, most of which can be found on my Facebook, in a separate folder HERE (Facebook pictures are automatically resized and seem a little grainy though :\).

Here's a small selection:

^ All the blow hole did today...

^ Me, stalking Jules? Nah

December 20: we went to the "Christmas Carols in the Domain" a giant free, outdoors Christmas concert which was absolutely fantastic. It had great music, awesome company and pretty fireworks. But most of all: BRIAN MCFADDEN! A a teenager I really liked Westlife, and Brian was my favourite of the band so I am very glad I've finally see him perform with my own eyes. He was fantastic and sang one of my favourite Christmas songs "So This is Christmas", totally making my night with that.

^ This guy is as a well-known Australian actor I just thought he was cute :\

^ Jules and Kip

^ Me & Jules

^ Fireworks!

^ Christmas tree in Darling Harbour

Christmas I spent at Jules (from December 24th) and it was great! Most of it I already told about in the happy meme that was going around back than but here's a quick summary:

• Awesome presents (like Indiana Jones monopoly & a Disney phrase book)
• Great food
• Playing the Eyetoy (exhausting!)
• Calling home for a long time
• Making a vid for my little sister which made her very happy
• Jumping in the swimming pool on boxing day
• Playing the Wii (though I suck at Mario Kart)
• Watching Love and Other Disasters with a friggin' adorable Santiago Cabrera in it

^ Christmas lunch!

^ Nom nom nom

^ Boxing day dessert

December 28 we did the Bondi to Coogee walk, which is a beautiful walk from one big beach to another along the coast line of Sydney and with loads of little beaches in between. It was a hot day again and maybe not the best day to do this, but it was still awesome.

Most pictures can be found on Facebook in a separate folder HERE. Selection:

^ Famous Bondi beach

December 29 I met up with messicat and we went to the Maritime Museum (which was great!) followed by an awesome Indian lunch, nom nom nom

^ Guess where the Maritime Museum got its name from ;)

^ It's Sirus! Totally reminded me of Harry Potter haha

^ We went inside a boat where we got told an amazing story from this Australian woman who sailed the world all by herself. Leaving home with a big stash of water and food and everything else she would need for her trip because she couldn't receive anything during it. This is Jess with the giant teddy bear that kept the women companion xD

December 30 I went to Manly beach with foxsyd, which was my first real beach trip here in Australia and really awesome. Again, there is a folder of pics on Facebook HERE. Selection:

^ View from the ferry

^ Manly!

^ This was an awesome pool next to the ocean, shielded off by rocks

^ An AWESOME bus we came across!

^ Sherrie on the ferry

New Years Eve finally, I spent with gennibean and foxsyd. We first went to the Sydney Harbour and saw the small 9pm fireworks (though our view was partly blocked by a ferry!) and after that headed over to Gen's. We saw some of the fireworks from her balcony and the rest on TV; they were amazing! Some of the fireworks 'rained' from the Harbour Bridge, so beautiful. We clocked in 2009 by watching The Dark Knight (so yes I have finally seen it). I was very happy to spend NYE with two awesome friends I met this year ^_^
