I'm sitting in my kitchen at the new dinner table watching it snow. Aside from a couple of flurries this is the first time it has snowed but I doubt there will be any accumulation. It is already stopping. I was just reading my book after finishing my Cheerios. Audrey was on the floor making sad little sounds because she wanted onto a chair. I moved one out for her and she didn't hop up because these chairs are higher and the kitchen floor is slippery. So she continued to make her plaintive sounds until Sofie heard her and came in to knock her around a bit. Audrey kept trying to get away from Puff and I think Sofie eventually realized Audrey wasn't in a playful mood and she's now laying at my feet. Audrey is on the chair next to me but she's sad because she isn't in my lap.
Sofie had her annual exam Wednesday. The vet was super nice and was great with Sofie who is generally a little warry of people she doesn't know. I was happy to find out that I can keep using the Sentinel with the Frontline since they work completely differently. When we run out of Sentinel I'll pick up some Interceptor. Dogs can't go without flea/tick/heartworm protection at all here. It was the same in Texass. Sofie's teeth, eyes, and ears are all perfect, she just has to lose a few pounds because of her hips.
I made beef stroganoff for dinner the other night and then soft tacos last night. We love tacos and have them too often I'm sure. Not sure what I'll make for dinner tonight. I guess I should think about that.
Oh yes, I mentioned I got my new kitchen table set. Well I had to send back one chair because the seat looked like they used a piece of wood they shouldn't have. I did get the 6th chair for the dining room, I'm just not sure where to put it. Looks like I'll be adjusting that room a wee bit.
Mom called last night. We chatted for a couple hours. I hope that I'll be able to go up and visit them right after Thanksgiving. I want to see my nieces and give them their Christmas gifts. Hopefully Chris will be able to come too and that's what is holding us up. He may be starting his classes for working as a police officer on base. Each base has an orientation they have to do and Chris has been impatiently waiting to go so he can get back to work.
Ok, I really need to end my mindless chatter here so I can head to the store and find a new printer. Our old one died in the move. I'm sure the printer itself still works but the feeder for the paper is broken. Oh, and dinner. Must figure that one out.
