I'm exhausted. Was in The Colony today. Left here at 12:30 to pick up Jermaine (Chris' former roommate and buddy who now lives in CA) and left for home again around 930. Got stuck in traffic in Hillsburough. Moved 5 miles in 1 hour between 11pm-12pm. Dropped Jermaine off, hauled myself home and finally got in about 15 minutes ago. The pups are wired since they were crated the whole time I was gone. Thank goodness I had enough sense to make arrangements for Leonie to come by this evening and let them out, do their business, get a drink and stretch their paws. I just wish they were sleepy... well never mind. They could probably play all night and at this point I'd sleep through it.
But... I had such a nice but brief vist with my parent in laws. We went to dinner at La Hacienda Ranch. Some of the best Tex Mex I've had ever. Too bad there's no locations down here. Our waiter was a trip. Kept referring to me as HM for High Maintenance since I asked for some water. Really good time.
