Yesterday I finished book #8 for the 50 book challenge. I read Nineteen Minutes by  Jodi Picoult. It was an amazing book. Very typical Picoult - tragic, thought provoking, and full of questions that kept me reading until the end.
The book focuses on a Columbine-type school shooting. Like many Picoult books it jumps from character to character and from the past to after the event to show us where these characters are coming from and how they grow and change after the tragedy.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who needs a good drama. It isn't light and happy. Although the ending does tie up well it isn't going to leave the reader particularly happy although there was a sense that it ended as best it could given the circumstances.
