So today was awesome and so was this weekend...

Friday:  Umm...I worked but BMB didn't.  He had outpatient surgery on his butt tumor ;-)  LOL...he's all good now though, he has to get it removed this spring but it's still alright, he's doing very well. :)

Saturday:  I worked but first we went to Wal-Mart and to the Dr. w/ BMB (we waited in waiting room while he got his wound packed...LoL...poor guy...the stuff they use to numb him makes him loopy so he's like, super hilarious when he gets out of there.  Brandon cleaned the apt.  CLEANED the apt.  I haven't ever seen it so clean after he does it.  He did so well, he even vacuumed.  I couldn't believe it.  It looked amazing.  I brought him Lemon Garlic Chicken w/ Angel Hair...Smoked Gouda Yukons...and Corn Pudding.  LoL, he was super excited.  I love him so much for this weekend....

Sunday:  We went out on a date.  We were in Lville and were going to go to Lentini's..this little Italian place I've always wanted to go to but they were like, remodeling or something so we couldn't eat there.  Instead, we went to the Old Spag. Factory and got drinks and ate there.  That place is like our default.  Then we went to his grandparent's house where Emma was and visited w/ them while we all watched the last Survivor episode.  I hadn't watched any of it so I didn't really care what was going on and was a little sad that we were missing Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy.  (Give me an update if you watched these! :-D) But it was all good...Emma was a doll all weekend...so happy to be Emma.  SHE PULLED UP ON HER BOUNCY SEAT!!  She had done it before on Brandon but this time she just crawled over to her bouncy seat and pulled herself up so she could hit the little butterflies and hear the rattles and chimes.  It was so funny when she did it b/c Brandon and I were watching her, well, BMB was reading some video game manual but he was standing in the doorway, and he said, 'You're helping her!' and I said, 'No!! I didn't!! I swear!!"  LoL, and then she fell down but then she pulled right back up....so ha. :)  Anyway, I can't believe she is growing and developing so fast...that was on Saturday...on Sunday she was climbing up on the little stone thing in front of his grandparent's fireplaces.  She seriously got all the way on one of them.  His grandpa was like, "Jenny, don't let her climb on that, she'll hurt herself." I said, 'She has to get some scratches and bumps before she learns what to climb on and what to not climb on."  And Janet was like, 'You're right, Jenny, just let her do whatever and be there when she falls.'

That's exactly what I'm going to do, for the rest of her life.  That's what parents do...I want to protect her but not from a little bump...she's going to be at daycare a lot and those ppl aren't saving her from little bumps...what happens if she gets one there?  She cries or just goes on.  At home, she falls, looks around for a second and decides whether to cry or crawl around some more.  The way we react to her falling over or whatever definitely helps her decide whether or not to cry.  If we rush over to her and act all scared, she gets scared.  If we start laughing or if we just sit and ask her if she's alright, she usually gets all giggly and gets back up and goes some more.

And there are 12 days until Christmas.  LoL...I always love this day because somehow, I always hear the song ON THIS DAY.  No matter if I'm purposely listening to Christmas music or if I'm just somewhere and it happens to be playing...it's on for me to hear.  :)  I know, I'm stupid and crazy but whatever!  hehe

Sorry I missed your IM B.  Much love to my IU Homeboy though...keep in touch w/ me.  Love you.

I sent Tys a Christmas card today...no treats as of yet...I'll send him some foodstuffs later though...I'm sure all those boys are getting all kinds of goodies right about now anyway...they probably want some like...other stuff...for later...I wonder if you can send them instant mashed potatoes...?  they can use like, butter buds, that powdered butter substitute...and reconstituted milk?  I mean, it couldn't be that horrible could it?  Better than the whatchamacallum's...IQsomethingorothers...nope, B just said, MRE's.  haha...some initialed thing.

I'm OUT.. xoxoxox
