Stubble

Okay, so Nate has managed to convince me to shave with a razor, for the second time. My armpits, this time o.O So I now have almost hairless underarms. And stubble. Grr.

Dundee was cool - it's really good to see Nate again, after two weeks apart without any communication apart from SMS and the occasional phone call. The flat doesn't have any phone service yet, either, so phone calls are expensive since I have to call his mobile and we're on different networks... -.-

The lack of phone service also means that there is no Net connection available in the flat, which is just a little weird. I think the thing I miss most about not being constantly connected is that I can't just jump onto the computer and fire up Google or e2 any time I need to know something.

I bought a Dremel on Friday! Little cheap Dremel-clone from Maplin's. It doesn't exactly look high quality, but hopefully it'll do the business. My plan is to cut Razor's case in half. Currently it's a big-ass steel U-case which weighs a ton, and is an absolute pain to remove whenever I want to tweak something inside, since I need to drag the whole machine out away from the wall, remove anything on top of it, and then haul the cover off. It makes a hell of a noise, too, and getting it back on is similarly noisy and pain-ass-in-the-y. So I want to make it into a nice side-panelled case by cutting the case cover into one L-shaped part (which will be pretty much permanently attached to the case frame) and one flat panel which will serve as a side-panel, which I can slide off with minimal effort. I'd also like to paint it (black, of course) at the same time - possibly with some sort of design on the side, but that can come later. First things first, I need to find reinforced cutting discs for the dremel - it only came with regular discs, and apparently they have a tendency to explode when used on thicker/harder materials...

I've got another cold. Blahhh. -.-
