[THIS SURE IS AN ANON CONFESSION POST. your character feels STRANGELY COMPELLED to offload whatever's really concerning them. Camp sure is strange like that! Maybe someone will be able to help with their concerns in a helpful and meaningful way! ... or, as is more likely, someone will fail and/or troll, but it is the thought that counts.]

Does that make sense?

I'm not sure how to advise you, given that you and I don't know each other, but if it helps, this place is a good place to learn about that kind of thing. I haven't seen too much in the way of homophobia, though I haven't exactly quizzed everyone about it.

Yeah I guess. I mean it's not like I had any life plans or anything anyway it's just weird to think about. Like of course I figured I was straight until this happened and now it's like HAVE I BEEN WRONG THIS WHOLE TIME I dunno I dunno. It isn't eating at me or anything but it nibbles sometimes.

I don't think you were wrong. Sexuality is weird! We get told that it's static, but a lot of the time it's fluid and shifting and what was right one week may not be another week. You were right then, but whether you're right now is up to you.

Wait, does this mean I might not be interested in him later??

No, it doesn't mean that. It means that what you learn here will change how you define yourself later, whether you're straight, bi, poly, straight with an exception for this guy, or you just do what you want.

I don't know what half of those are, but I guess that makes sense? Like before I was straight 'cause I didn't think there was even a possibility I'd like a guy?

Well, yeah. We're taught to assume that being straight is the norm, right? Then you get older and you learn that it kinda isn't.

Right... Man, I just googled "Poly" and I'm more confused. What does a New York University have to do with any of this?

What happens in college stays in college, or so I'm told. I'm not American, so sitcoms may have lied to me. Anyway, it's more "having relationships with multiple people at the same time".

I'm not going to college so I guess it's okay?
