[It's dinner time at the mess hall, just an ordinary evening. Until a tiny little dragon gets to the head of the line, looking over what's available and then standing on his tiptoes to look up at the server

All unicorns can do at least a little magic! Where I come from, anyway.
[it's a pretty detailed sketch. two-storeyed, roughly hexagonal, with doors on all sides - almost like six houses combined into one. in the center is a hexagonal tower about one storey taller than the rest]
Okay, so - there's five of us right now, not counting Princess Luna, but since she's a counselor, I'm pretty sure she's already got a place to stay. Spike stays with me, and he doesn't take up much space, so we're all right there. But there's one more friend of ours, Pinkie Pie, who isn't here yet; we want to make sure she has a place to stay if and when she does come, so that's why there's six parts. It can be a general use area if she doesn't show up.
The tower is another general use area - kitchen and living room on the ground floor, baths on the second floor, top floor can either be the attic or Rainbow Dash's room, if she decides she'd rather not live on the ground.
The housing sections are two floors because we're all used to living where we work. Rarity needs room for her boutique, Fluttershy for taking care of the animals - I drew two versions of her part, one with a courtyard for interior gardening and one without, we can ask her which one she prefers - I need to have room for my books, and... well, Rainbow Dash works with the weather, so I guess she doesn't need the extra space for a shopfront, but it would be uneven otherwise. If she doesn't want this space, it can be a visiting or storage area. Applejack farms, so we'll want a lot of extra space on this side for her to plant... Oh! And don't forget, all the doors have to have low handles that we can operate. These weird knobs you humans have on all the doors around here are really hard for us to use.
Sure is. The pirate ship out on the pond? Built that. Ever since I was a kid, I've been buildin' stuff. Mostly ships, but I can build pretty much anythin'.

It's great to meet you, by the way. Is this what you usually do? Building, I mean.
