[The weather around camp has been growing increasingly odd, with the air feeling thicker and thicker by the day. The oddness by the barrier had begun to expand to camp at large - strange echos, odd bursts of light, and a general sense of dread permeating everything.
However, this evening, a sudden flash of light cuts through the night sky, alleviating just about everything one may have experienced in the days building up to this. The air suddenly feels much lighter, cooler, as if it's easier to breathe. The noise, well, the noise is different, and not so much with the creepy echoing. Even the barrier seems . . . stable? For once. It appears to be flickering in an odd manner, but at least it lacks the foreboding that it had before. And as for camp itself? It's suddenly, as was warned by the carnie aliens, much more crowded than usual . . .
At least there are tents set up outside the carnival filled with candy apples, mini doughnuts, popcorn, and real cotton candy to accomodate some tastes.]
