You know, the longer I live here, the more I get pretty certain that yearly holidays might not be such a good idea after all. Sure, it's nice to see home again, but when you've been here as long as I have - you're not allowed to ask how long, by the way, I just decided that's against the rules - the best way to deal with homesickness is to kind of ( Read more... )

Well! I'm supposed to be all responsible and stuff, and it wouldn't do me much good to be moping in a corner. As a coping mechanism there's worse.

Well, isn't that one a bit hard to keep anyways? Seems like it doesn't really count as breaking it if camp makes that decision for them anyways.

Well, perhaps you're right. But then, in most cases of homesickness you've actually got the option of going home, even if it's just an eventual thing.
