[There is a Mountie standing outside the Consulate this evening, looking positively horrified. At his feet there is a dead Sasquatch. Yes, a Sasquatch, shot in the chest. He does not seem distressed by the fact it is a Sasquatch, simply that it is dead. He is now checking for vital signs, clutching his hat to his chest ( Read more... )

[sigh]

Well, Constable, a Sasquatch is an ape-like creature that has caused legends since before the 1920s. I know someone who would've loved to be able to see one in person, but since it's too late for that, you'll be glad to know that it'll provide decent Stamina recovery, provided you cook it well enough. It might be pretty tough, though, because they're said to be very well-muscled.

I am more concerned that it was killed. Poaching of Sasquatches is illegal in this territory.

...

Stamina recovery, you say?

It's in the past. And that's right! If you don't your Stamina gauge filled, you'll start having trouble with your hand-eye coordination and keeping steady. It's very important to maintain a healthy diet. In this case, you'd be getting plenty of protein.

There's peanut butter, cinnamon pecan, oats and honey, and I believe I have a dried fruit medley with granola.

Would you care for one?

That's a sweet offer, Constable, but I'm more of a ramen and coffee gal.

What? Ramen is a very nutritious meal! Instant noodles are easy to make, and are an excellent source of potassium.

I know how to manage my own diet, mister. You need some sodium in your diet too, you know.
