[The mess hall certainly looks different today. Each table is filled with different types of wine, and plenty of glasses. There are even discreetly placed spittoons around the room.

By the reds there is a gentleman, slowly swirling the wine in his glass]

Forgive me, where I come from children are often introduced to wine when they are quite young. If you would prefer a glass of milk, I can arrange that.
