Night In Woods: Survived!
First night banished alone in the woods: not fun.
Fortunately for me, I was able to invent fire fairly quickly. Though they're not particularly safe and there was some nasty smoke, there were quite a few pinecones lying around (I can see why they've been suggested to replace tampons -- they're everywhere -- even if I still think that sleeping with me or making your uterus into a purse is a better idea), and I was able to use those to get this thing called "fire" started.
Unfortunately, "fire" has a strange ability to attract zombies in purple tube tops. While useful for pushing the zombies back (it doesn't kill them, but it slows them down. Um, more), using "fire" to kill the zombies soon created a horrific scene.
And then I angsted in the woods for two hours and zombies stole my socks.
On the plus side, at some point while dazedly staring at the "fire," I was reminded of a very nice girl I once sat by a fire with, and remembering her definitely made up for not getting to grope the camp director.
HAHA, CAMP DIRECTOR. YOU LOSE.
Also, I think this "fire" may be useful in attacking the zombies. Who was it that was making pies? ... can I borrow some flour?
