He may be listening, but I'm not sure he's really the flower sort...

Yeah, maybe not . . . the flowers are pretty, though! I'm always surprised that something like this can grow here.

[taking a seat in the grass to gather some daisies]

Apparently there's a whole greenhouse! And I suppose since it's so swampy, lots of flowers grow in the spring...

I'm glad we have a little color here when it's warm. I was a little worried that everything would be dead all year, but I guess it's only because I arrived in the winter--the winters back home are so mild.

Being dead all year would be good camouflage for the zombies, but I think things grow back in the spring everywhere.

Are those your books?

They're library books! I checked them out to read, but they've run into some unfortunate circumstances...

Oh no! I see . . . the zombies?

... a catgirl really sank her claws into them.

Cat . . . girl?

I was confused, too! But she was a girl with cat ears and a cat tail and Ema drugged her by mistake.

Is she all right? I-I didn't think that kind of thing changed behavior, after that week when all of the um w-when a lot of us had cat ears . . .

I think she is! Ema distracted her...

Yes, um . . . there were certain conditions, but I would say half the camp or more. Was it catnip?

[euphiemisms]

I think catnip may have started the problem... I didn't know viruses spread that quickly here!
