If you were my wife, would you rather be here with me, or home with me dead?

...and if I ordered you from a store, would you be angry and possibly violent?

INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW.

((OOC: Heading out. Will continue threads tomorrow <33))

If it's a woman, isn't the answer pretty much always 'angry and violent'?

Sometimes we're happy and violent.

Happy at being violent?

Or just so happy we break things by accident in our joy.

...here, and possibly.

But. But if you'd rather be here in the first place, why? WHY?

Well, y'know, objectifying women and all that with the being ordered from a store, but I'd probably get over it.

Okay.

Well, it's totally worth it if she does show up. You really think she'd get over it?

You should ask your audience-wives. I'm sure someone married you when you showed up.

Right.

How about no.

Being mailed to camp in a box is not an experience that leaves women very happy. Just trust me in this.

See, that part I had pretty much worked out for myself. But there are extenuating circumstances.

vegan_megan December 13 2006, 22:10:11 UTC
Well, is she stronger than you? That could lead to a few uncomfortable minutes after she found out who ordered her. If you're willing to risk that - go, you!

And those circumstances are ... ?

She can break me with her pinky. It's kind of a risk I've been taking for years.

Well. We live on a spaceship, and half the crew is already here. I'm pretty sure she's trying to figure out where we all went off to anyway, so. Yeah. And also the part where she thinks I'm dead.

I'd say this depends on the nature of your home, the patience of your wife and the methods of delivery, Sir.

I live on a scruffy spaceship, she has variable patience, and how am I supposed to know.

The dilemma stands.

Oh, you're from space, too?

You can simply ask yourself - is camp worse than home? If the answer is a definitive yes, you should rethink it. Being stuck to one place can be very stressing for somebody who is used to live on a spaceship. But I agree to you, this is a dilemma that can't be solved easily, Sir.

Well, wasn't born ship-side. But I've lived there for most of my life.

So what's your 'verse like?
